The Northern Cafe, adjacent to the Northern Motel, is noted for the "Best Breakfast in the Northwoods", and is popular with the locals as well as those vacationing in the area. Our hours are 6 AM to 2 PM, closed on Wednesdays.

We serve traditional, hearty Northwoods breakfast & lunches, such as specialty sandwiches, homemade soups, and biscuits & sausage gravy. Our french toast is a Northern legend and our pancakes fill the plate like you’ve never seen before, all at very reasonable prices.

A deposit in advance or credit card is required for guaranteed reservations. A 2 day cancellation notice is required. If you are unable to make it up for your reservation and we can rerent your room, there is no charge. Otherwise we charge for one night.

( Memorial Day through Labor Day ). Thank You
Welcome to the Northern Cafe and Motel, located in the heart of Wisconsin's beautiful northwoods. Open year round for our summer enthusiasts and in the winter for the snowmobilers, skiers and anyone traveling on scenic Highway 51.
